This mounting platform also acts as a sterile boundary between the fluid path and the measurement device, using a TC50 diaphragm gasket secured with bioglue to ensure the sterility of the single-use system and eliminate the risk of cross-contamination. When there is no pressure in the system, the pressure gauge or pressure instrument can be removed for offline calibration without compromising system integrity.
